Happy 2-Month Birthday to Sam!

The SnuggleMan is 2 months old! In celebration, here's a picture-packed blog post for all his fans!

On Sam's big day, we went to Pastiche to celebrate two months of fun and snuggles. The courtyard was beautiful and full of river breezes, and Sam had a great time staring at everything from his carseat!

Dad enjoyed a delicious dessert in Sam's honor while Sam enjoyed his bottle...

For Labor Day weekend, Sam made his first trip to the Motherland...North Carolina! He enjoyed 3 days of playing with his Nana and Papa Strickland, and he got to meet his great-grandparents, Hal and Janie Strickland!

An Early Learner...

Sam has seen pictures of his dad reading the newspaper at 3, and is determined to outdo him!

It's been a fun couple of weeks for little Sam. He had a visit from his Auntie Allyn (pictures to come), and he went to his first big party...a baby shower for his friend-to-be Connor Ferrelle. He loved the party, and he slept VERY WELL that night!

He's a happy little man, and he's doing so well. He's smiling BIG smiles (ahhh....there's nothing in the world as sweet as your baby smiling at you) and holding his head up by himself. He is sleeping very regularly, though not through the night quite yet (he still wakes up every 3-4 1/2 hours to feed).

Six wonderful weeks!

We can't believe Sam is six weeks old already. He's an unbelievably sweet little man, and he's growing by leaps and bounds! Here are a few of our favorite moments with him over the last couple of weeks...

Sam celebrated his one month birthday on August 9 with a delicious cupcake the size of his head!

Annie continues to be a protective big sister. She's never very far away from him, especially when he's sleeping!

Getting excited for his first preseason Jags game!

He loves his swing, a gift from Aunt Walker & Uncle Mark and Aunt Allyn & Uncle Jeff (and, perhaps unfortunately, he loves that pacifier, too...)
