Non-Extreme Makeover, Tousey Edition

After watching a few too many episodes of "Curb Appeal" on HGTV and thinking that our entranceway needed a little more "POP!" we were able to take advantage of a beautiful spring weekend to (much to our surprise, to be honest) get the job done! Clay removed over 100 sq. ft. of grass, Tracy picked & placed our new lilies and flowering ground cover, and Annie watched from air-conditioned bliss. Sam helped too, of course. March is Gone Already??

Since our last post, Spring has sprung in Jacksonville! Clay has taken the Florida Bar Exam, we've made a trip to NC to celebrate Tracy's mom's birthday and helped Clay's mom celebrate her birthday here in Jacksonville, Tracy took a trip to the Keys for a law school girls' weekend, and Annie has gotten used to the frequent afternoon thunderstorms that are part of Spring and Summer life in Florida.

Tracy's belly continues to grow (22 weeks, 23 1/2 weeks, and 26 weeks) as little Sam gets bigger and bigger...he's now at viability!

The sweet little 2 1/2 week old stray kittens we found abandoned in the crawl space under our house...Tracy would have kept one, but with a baby on the way and a dog who likes terrorizing cats, we figured it wasn't the right time! We took them to the Humane Society, and they're now with good foster parents (yes, we checked).
